Community College of Rhode Island
The Community College of Rhode Island is a public, two-year degree granting college that provides a variety of career, technical and academic programs. The students receive credits for courses successfully completed in the physical, social and health sciences.
The college is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and also has received accreditation for specified programs.
Salve Regina University
Salve Regina University was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1947, Salve Regina is a private, coeducational university offering a comprehensive and innovative liberal arts education in the Catholic tradition. The students receive credits for courses successfully completed in the social sciences.
Salve Regina University and St. Joseph School of Nursing have developed an educational partnership that will allow eligible St. Joseph graduates to earn their bachelor of science degree in nursing after additional coursework at Salve Regina University’s Center for Adult Education in Warwick, RI.
This model allows the student to follow the curriculum of St. Joseph School of Nursing while concurrently taking courses at Salve’s Center for Adult Education.
