Kathleen M. Brequet, R.N., Acting Director of the School of Nursing, has announced the recipients of the Helen Morris Deblinger '33 Memorial Scholarship for the 2007-2008 academic year. The Deblinger scholarship was established in 2003 to reward and encourage excellence in nursing and a demonstrated commitment to others and to the community.

Holly Clements (Junior) of Warwick, RI, has been awarded the
Jeanne Benjamin Farrar '67 Memorial Scholarship for the current academic year. Established in 2005, this scholarship is given to a student who, in addition to meeting academic criteria, has demonstrated community involvement as a health care volunteer, is of high moral character, and has demonstrated a degree of self motivation to enter the nursing profession.
